EXPORT ACCOUNT COORDINATOR - SPRINGDALE, AR
Account management of intercompany / international customers, proactive communication and management of customers including periodic meetings, reviewing and processing orders, providing customers with comprehensive information to solve their problems or assist them in making sound decisions and achieve customer satisfaction. Handles customer complaints and provides resolution, bringing to manager s attention when necessary to ensure that proper and satisfactory service is delivered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inter-Company Account Management
Work directly with customers to ensure their business needs are met on time and in a satisfactory manner
Proactive communication and management of customers including periodic meetings to meet or exceed customer expectations
Manage high volume of emails
Maintain a high quality of service to the customers and respond quickly to any inquiry via voicemail, e-mails, etc.
Schedule creation & open order management, ensuring timely shipments of all products
Proactively communicates appropriate information such as transfer pricing, product information, parts availability, part number changes, etc. to solve problems and assist customer in making sound decisions
Issues return goods forms and call tags as needed
Issues credit/re-bills based upon established guidelines and procedures
Coordinates with Buyers/Planners to ensure machine/parts availability
Alerts Manufacturing and Purchasing on shortages and large incoming orders Conducts weekly meetings to ensure machines are built on schedule
Processes orders received from e-mails/EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
Work with shipping to communicate special requirements or changes needed in transportation arrangements. Responsible for printing orders for shipment, booking of containers, movement of paperwork between forwarders and customers.
Working knowledge of export terminology and INCO terms including letters of credit
College education or equivalent combination of education & experience required
Minimum of 7 years customer service experience, preferably in an export or manufacturing environment, with a minimum of 5 years Account Management experience.
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
Good working knowledge of Freight Forwarding/Export
Detail oriented; excellent organization and follow-up skills
Sense of urgency to get tasks completed
Ability to work independently, and in a team environment
Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills
Enthusiastic with the ability to influence others
Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple tasks
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Able to interact with all functional areas and all organizational levels
Job involves working in front of computer screen
Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Working knowledge of ERP systems, BAAN preferred
Capability to learn new software
