In addition, with experience and training in the audit approach and testing procedures, many AVA professionals provide subject matter assistance to audit engagement teams.The Financial Accounting and Reporting Services (FAandRS) Market Offering helps organizations address a wide range of issues around their financial reporting requirements. FAandRS professionals assist clients with their efforts to meet financial reporting requirements, including the preparation of financial statement and regulatory filings, and the application and implementation of complex accounting standards for U.S. GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Our practice combines our knowledge and experience in the areas of financial reporting, risk management, and complianceto help address our clients' most important issues. We currently have opportunities for professionals in our Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Mid America, North Pacific and Pacific Southwest regions.Professional and Technical Responsibilities: - Develop excellent professional oral and written communication skills in order to establish working relationships with client personnel - Exhibit a professional, business-like demeanor - Apply problem solving skills and deliver Deloitte methodology on engagements - Build and broaden industry knowledge to support organization and function initiatives by taking advantage of our AERS Learning curriculum of eLearning modules and local and national training programs - Exercise professional judgment on engagements by providing proactive solutions and recommendations - Provide recommendations for improved and enhanced business efficiency to clients - Demonstrate leadership and provide guidance to ERS interns - Proactively manage career - set goals and career plans with advisor/career counselorSenior Consultant Responsibilities include: - Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel - Understand engagement as it relates to client's business - Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty - Perform technical research on complex accounting issues - Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract workplan - Deliver services that meet Deloitte and Touche's task leader specifications - Assume responsibility for components of engagements.
