JOB DUTIES:

Build, maintain, and manage a local FOCUS team that works collaboratively.
Interview and train new staff on University, FOCUS and local site policies and procedures.
Conduct weekly staff meetings and document through minutes shared weekly with administrative and model supervisors.
Review progress against service delivery goals with staff weekly and document this review in staff meeting minutes.
Develop and implement appropriate policies and procedures to manage the local site, ensure that contractual goals are met, and program and University policies are implemented; review and revise local site policies and procedures on a regular basis.
Develop individual staff-specific goals and monitor and document progress through weekly supervision; support site staff in professional development.
Monitor fidelity to the FOCUS model by site staff; review and provide feedback on progress notes on a weekly basis.
Conduct initial and annual performance reviews as directed by HQ.

Supervise the local FOCUS team to deliver services (briefs, consultations, psychoeducational workshops, skill building groups (SBG), individual family resiliency training (IFRT); monitor and maintain fidelity to the model; meet contractual service goals; monitor and supervise the completion of all required follow-ups with families participating in IFRT.

Develop and implement a strategic plan for delivery of FOCUS services.
Monitor progress toward site delivery goals on a weekly basis.
Monitor all local FOCUS services to ensure they are delivered in fidelity to the model. Meet all service delivery goals.
Monitor services and work toward program improvement when necessary.
Monitor progress toward follow-ups with families participating in IFRT and complete at least 90% of all follow-up goals.
Participate in all scheduled administrative and model supervision calls.
Manage the development of an agenda for weekly supervision calls.
Model openness to supervision in a non-defensive manner for other site staff.
Approach supervision calls prepared to problem solve and work collaboratively with model supervision and local site staff.
Participate in all scheduled Site Director calls and other meetings.
Provide direct services to military families using the FOCUS model.

Conduct and supervise community outreach, referral base development, and networking.
Develop, monitor, and revise a communications plan for the local team.
Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with the local POC(s) and local service providers.
Plan and implement a monthly schedule of briefs and meetings with command, medical staff, and other providers.
Identify local providers with expertise in key areas such as diagnosis and treatment of PTSD, ADHD, depression, educational consultation, and childcare; maintain an active referral list.
Maintain an accurate and current site calendar and keep accurate records in Sales Force and SharePoint.

Maintain regular communication with HQ team (and Regional Consultant, if assigned) to ensure effective and efficient operation of site-specific service provision.
Proactively initiate communication to clarify issues, report significant trends, issues and developments; communicate with HQ in a timely manner as directed.
Engage in a collaborative problem solving approach with HQ staff.
Follow BUMED rules of engagement for media requests and high-level visitors in a timely manner.
Assist HQ staff in site-specific strategic planning for local FOCUS team as assigned.

Monitor employees' progress and ensure completion of supplemental and advanced trainings in compliance with FOCUS model protocols.
Ensure employees' successfully complete initial and advanced trainings as assigned.

Monitor family progress during/post session completion and ensure completion of site documentation in compliance with FOCUS model protocols.
* Oversee all local site documentation including contacts/accounts, briefs, consultations, SBG, workshops, progress notes for IFRT follow-ups and other site activities.
Oversee all local site documentation and ensure the timely and accurate entry of information.
* Review progress notes for all Resiliency Trainers weekly.
Ensure that each family completing IFRT program has complete follow-up documentation.
Ensure that all hard files are secure and collected in compliance with FOCUS policies and procedures.
Conduct quality assurance reviews of documentation.
Submit monthly narrative site reports and other assigned reports on time as directed; assist in the development of other reports on time as directed.
Ensure entry of all site documentation by monthly and annual report deadlines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree or doctoral degree in a mental health field with current clinical license.

Experience with manualized family and child intervention, clinical services, treatment, and/or social skills programs

Experience in providing direct therapeutic and/or intervention services to at-risk and/or high-risk families

Experience, high comfort level, and/or good working knowledge of military culture and military family experience

Strong written, verbal, facilitation and training skills

Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn new computer-based systems for worksite management

Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Power Point

Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and policy/procedure development

Previous management and supervisory experience in context of direct services provision

Demonstrated experience working with community-based mental health agencies

Demonstrated experience working in a multi-site and multi-disciplinary setting

Willingness to undertake limited travel as needed

Familiarity with web-based assessment collection, tracking systems, collaborative workgroup and reporting tools, including Survey Gizmo, SalesForce, Access, and SharePoint is highly desirable

Must have valid driver's license, auto insurance and access to an automobile.
Ability to work flexible hours. Ability to follow University Policy and Procedures.
