JOB DESCRIPTIONspan A long standing Portland company is building out some new functions as they launch into a new era. You could be part of paving the new road as the FP&A Manager. br br In this job as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will have in depth responsibility: br br ul
li Overall responsibility over forecasting, analytics, benchmarking, segmentation, strategic modeling, profitability, automation /li li Oversee budgeting/forecasting process of annual budget preparation and review of monthly variance analysis and bridge report /li li Develop benchmarks, dashboards, strategic planning models, and other analytical tools to facilitate forecasting and analyzing actual results against projections. /li li Review and Streamline the overhead allocation analysis process and monitoring methodology for overhead allocation /li li Partner with Accounting Department to streamline efforts relating to cost allocations as part of the total GL Close and Financial Reporting process /li li Lead and manage analytics, budgeting, costing, and accounting projects for subsidiaries /li li Project Manager for special financial analysis projects in partnership with various business unit leaders /li /ul
br We’re looking for a problem solver who will drive projects in teams or independently, seeking new solutions. We will need strong cross-departmental communication and partnership, and the ability to train and motivate staff as part of that endeavor. br br Your background should include: br br ul
li BS Degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters Degrees an advantage /li li CPA, CMA strongly preferred /li li Strong knowledge of US GAAP /li li 5+ years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, allocations, and/or technical accounting /li li Note: Background checks and drug screens will be federally mandated and are a condition of employment. /li /ul
