Fabricating Supervisor Serving customers in Illinois, PCA Chicago Container takes pride in offering outstanding customer service. We are a full-service supplier of corrugated shipping containers and value-added solutions. Our customers rely on us for package testing, structural design solutions, just-in-time (JIT) deliveries and rush orders. We are seeking resumes for a Fabricating Supervisor Responsibilities:
Reports to the Plant Superintendent. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cutting, fitting, and joining corrugated materials to form boxes to customer requirements:
Demonstrates machine functions, work methods, and techniques to train workers, successful and safe operation of all machines and tools used to provide finished product. Incumbent communicates with Plant Superintendent as well as other management team members, and provides required reports to production plant management team. Performs required crew member counseling in job performance including documentation of personnel matters. Performs other duties as assigned or required as a supervisor. Basic Qualifications:
Five years of previous supervisor experience. Five or more years Flexo Rotary Die Cutter experience preferred. Must possess demonstrated supervisory skills of leadership, direction, and planning. High School graduate is minimum requirement. Must be able to work any shift. Above average computer skills required, with customer service intelligence.
