ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND COMPETENCIES
You ll have the opportunity to be an integral part of our aggressive growth strategy by supporting our CNC machine shop with technical and repair expertise, as well as standard facilities maintenance. You ll own daily tasks such as inspection and repair of machine tooling, vacuum pumps and air compressors; as well as HVAC maintenance, electrical and air drops and assist in maintaining other equipment in the plant. You ll also be a key player in vehicle maintenance, plumbing, telecommunications and janitorial services. Above all, you ll be a role-model in promoting a safety-first culture in the plant.
QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Precision Technologies, the MECHANICAL MANUFACTURING division of Benchmark Electronics, is looking for a career-minded CNC REPAIR and FACILITIES TECHNICIAN for our Concord, CA location. Our customers are leading Original Equipment Manufacturers who require exacting precision mechanical production capabilities. Our product lines include the Aerospace, Healthcare Scientific Instrumentation, and complex electro-mechanical equipment. Precision CNC Milling and Turning Complex Electro Mechanical Assembly and functional test Advanced Metal Joining, Electron Beam and Laser welding
What would really impress us: * Experience with FANUC and other CNC control panels * Certification from HAAS or related CNC maintenance education * Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment * Experience in a High Mix/Low Volume (Mixed Model) Shop
What we need from you: * 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience * 8+ years experience in repair and maintenance of CNC equipment * Background in electrical systems * Creative Mechanical Aptitude * Experience in safety regulations
