Job Description Summary

Candidate will help maintain as invisibly to the customer as possible, a neat, clean, safe, organized, and comfortable work environment within which customer's employees may carry out their responsibilities with minimal disruption due to facilities-related issues. Candidate must be available to work rotating shifts, holidays and/or weekends; as necessary

RESPONSIBILITIES:



Facilities Tech I will be responsible for the following day-to-day responsibilities:



* Daily physical inspection of assigned floors/buildings, break rooms, conference rooms, hallways, corridors, storage rooms; inspecting facilities for general cleanliness and neatness and identifying any problems/issues based on established C&W and client standards and other similar tasks, as required, or requested by leadership.

* Cubicle/furniture reconfigurations and other furniture requests

* Office and equipment moves

* Support new hire and termination facilities processes

* Change out lamps/lighting and projector bulbs

* Support managed room/conference room setups as required and/or necessary

* Minor carpet repairs

* Partner with custodial vendor/supplier

* attend staff meetings as scheduled

* Observe safety procedures; plan and carry out work to ensure a safe and accident free workplace

* Perform in a back-up roll for Shipping/Receiving; as well as back up for Calabasas office

* Performs patching and painting; as required.

* Supports the efforts of other facility management team members and facility team members across business lines; specifically building engineers and distribution support services.Up to and including travel to the Calabasas office.

* Provide suggestions for improving operations and maintenance activities to enhance system performance, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and consistency

* Be familiar with key performance indicators (KPIs), and monitor work requests as assigned in a consistent and timely basis, completing requests in accordance with C&W KPIs as outlined below:



* 75% of all work orders to be initiated by technician (proactive)

* On-time completion of work orders based on eC1 desired completion date.



* Create and maintain collaborative, supportive, and positive relationships with customer business unit partner and individuals.

* Support C&W leadership and direction.



REPORTING



* The Facilities Maintenance Technician takes direction from the Lead Facilities Technician or direct supervisor.



EVALUATION



Facilities Technicians are evaluated annually with emphasis on the following areas:



* On-time completion of work orders

* Total number of work requests generated (per KPI)

* Physical inspection of assigned areas

* Attendance

* Professionalism

* Effective communication

* Safety record

* Customer satisfaction surveys

* Completed Clarity Net classes per C&W requirements

* Evaluation by client/customer feedback



REQUIREMENTS:



* Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Excellent work ethic, integrity, professionalism, and a sense of humor.

* Computer knowledge including Microsoft Office software application.

* Painting experience preferred.

* Candidate must be well organized, able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.



WORK HOURS



* 7:30am-4:30pm with staggered lunches, unless otherwise arranged



EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE



Minimum of High School diploma and 1-2 years of related experience
