Faculty Positions Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences of the Emory University School of Medicine, under the leadership of its new chair, Mark Hyman Rapaport, M.D., is recruiting new faculty as part of a major strategic reorganization of the department. There are openings for inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison, geriatric, substance abuse, child and adolescent, student mental health and community based psychiatrists. Positions are available at Emory University Hospital (2), the Atlanta VA (12), Emory Student Health (2), Grady Health System (5), Wesley Woods Center for Aging (1), the Emory University Clinic (1) and other department facilities. Research, teaching and clinical interests will determine appointment into tenure, research, clinical or educational track positions. Salary and rank will be determined based on training and previous experience.
