Facility: St. Cloud Hospital at St. Cloud
Department: Recovery Plus - Adolescent - HSCH

Expertise and training in the field of chemical dependency and mental health is required. Must have training, experience, and skill in the delivery of mental health therapies as they relate to chemically dependent and other dysfunctional families. Responsible for basic case management duties for individuals, couples, families, and groups who have in some way been affected by the presence of chemical dependency. This includes assessment, interviewing, educating, counseling, supervising, consulting and training in the areas of chemically dependent families and family systems. A high level of skill and competency in delivering a variety of therapy and education services is required, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.
EDUCATION
Master s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or related Human Services field required.

EXPERIENCE
Minimum 600 hour internship. Internship can be a part of 2 years experience.
Two years or more counseling experience working primarily with families, couples or individual family member in the field of chemical dependency and/or family counseling required.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Social Work as a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW) or;
Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology as a Licensed Psychologist Practitioner (LPP) or;
Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Marriage and Family Therapy as a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT) or;
Licensure by the Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or;
Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or;
Licensure as Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in State of Minnesota required.
Any persons who have direct client contact must have been free of chemical use problems for at least the two years immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems includes the following:
Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements;
Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member s job performance;
Chemical use that affects the credibility of the treatment services with clients, referral sources or other members of the community; and Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.
Successful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services. Full-time Day/Evening rotation
