The Health and Public Service operating group serves health organizations, government agencies, institutions and nonprofit organizations worldwide providing a broad range of consulting, technology, system integration and business processing services. Service Delivery professionals are responsible for providing service delivery across the breadth of offerings such as accounting, information technology, application development and maintenance, helpdesk services, procurement, learning and training, and human resources. The work that is performed by our delivery professionals may serve one or more clients concurrently and they may be located directly at a client site or within our global delivery network. The Peoplesoft Developer will provide production support for the application development and deployment effort. Duties include but are not limited to: * Lead software development and design effort. * Analyze, code, and test software (both new and changes to existing programs) from requirements specifications. Ensure the finished product meets the requirements objectives and any other appropriate criteria associated with the system requirements and Statement of Work. Produce complete and accurate documentation based on program standards. * Create design documentation. * Assist with configuration of applications software. * Provide production support for the software. * Activities include problem analysis, testing, and system enhancements. * Some support may be required outside of normal business hours. * Provide leadership and on the job knowledge transfer to less experienced resources. Other Responsibilities: * Apply appropriate technical, industry, and functional knowledge to all work efforts. * Accomplish assigned tasks by specified due date. * Identify problems and alert supervisors with sufficient lead time to avert potential crises. * Identify changes in scope or work effort that could result in budgetary overrun or the missing of delivery dates. * Operate independently as appropriate and work cooperatively as part of a team to accomplish the goals of the program and the client. * Notify supervisors when problems or issues arise that present increased risk to the program or client. * Interact effectively with client personnel including both project team members and users. * Communicate status to the relevant team leaders in accordance with program procedures. * Report time into the time reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner consistent with project guidelines. * Continually broaden own technical, functional, and industry skill base. * Suggest ways to improve upon assigned tasks for the betterment of the individual and the team. Basic Qualifications: * Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a TS/SCI clearance * Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in information technology or client services industry * BA Degree Preferred Skills: * 3 years of PeopleSoft Application design and development experience or experience in a large scale PeopleSoft implementation. * 1 year of PeopleSoft HRMS experience * 1 year of team leadership experience * 1 year of Cognos experience Candidates who are currently employed by a client of Accenture or an affiliated Accenture business may not be eligible for consideration.
