We are led by security industry luminaries.Role Description:We are looking for a highly motivated, hands on, technical Sales Engineer, with Unix and Red Hat command line experience to work with production, engineering, and research and development, as well as external sales firms to determine how our products and services could be designed or modified to best suit customer needs. This position reports directly into the VP. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in Engineering, 5-7 years of experience, specifically field experience in the commercial sector. Also, this position will require regional travel ( mid west).Key Responsibilities:* Use technical skills to demonstrate to potential customers how and why to use our products* Maintain current customer relationship and develop new ones * Potentially help identify and develop new product concepts* Provide status reports including trends in territory, upcoming events, follow-up and adherence to goals* Other related duties as requiredIdeal Candidate Description:Required Skills:* Bachelors Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of experience directly relating to this job* Outstanding communication skills and ability to take on a consultative style when presenting ideas and products* Knowledge of specific customer service standards and procedures, both domestic and international* Detailed knowledge of Security Vulnerability Assessment products* Ability to plan, organize and implement a range of Security Scanners, IT audits, Compliance programs* Must be detail oriented and capable of accurate work with minimal supervision.Ideal Company and Technology Experience:CISSP, Nagios, Foundstone (McAfee), nCircle, StillSecure, eEye, Rapid7, Arcsight, Intellitactics, netForensics, Loglogic, Splunk, NetIQ, Bindview, Network Intelligence, Coverity, Wind River systems, Symantec, StillSecure, EnTrust, Certicom, Nessus, tripwire,foundstone,languard,shadow,nmap,arcsight,Netforensics,vulnerability scanners,
