Job Description
- Regular interface with Senior Architects and Principal staff engineers to define custom solutions with a focus on Mixed Signal and Digital ASICs & Foundry offering .
- Interface with platform and production teams from assigned customer to ensure IP and Deep Sub- Micron road map alignment.
- Interface with ON Semi design and development team on new product definitions and technology requirements.
- Responsible for presenting analog blocks and subsystems of a chip starting from a concept or definition that meets certain customer specification
- Help define customer system specifications to ensure proper alignment with ON Semiconductors new product plans and customer requirements.
- Presentation of new ON Semiconductor products and technology capabilities.
- Preparation and support of (customer) in house technical seminars and presentations
- Support of new potential projects:
circuit analysis, demo solutions, and help the customer solve their technical problems.
- Monitoring and reporting of new technical and technology related trends of customers and generally in the market place.
- Generates analyses/proposals and provides the appropriate inputs to his management for new opportunities, development trends, upcoming new technologies and markets.
- FAE will support multiple customer design locations. Position Requirements - BSEE with MSEE preferred
- Minimum of 6 years Experience in
- Detailed knowledge and experience of mixed-signal design methodologies.
- IC design background is a plus.
- experience with Cadence design environment
- Understanding of semiconductor process flow and device physics preferred.
- Fundamental technical skills in evaluating/debugging Digital Circuits
- Customer facing experience desired
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-initiative, self-motivating, prepared to continue learning
