As a Field Service Engineer for the high tech growth business serving the Life Sciences markets, your primary responsibilities will include installation, maintenance and repairs on HPLC and Multivendor products in the Cambridge/Boston area. This role will allow you to work onsite with one of Boston's leading customers on a daily basis. You will be working closely with the local sales team to help facilitate pre and post-sales support to Agilent's customers.
Additional responsibilities include; customer training, troubleshooting, routine preventative maintenance, qualifications, and validation services. You will also have to work to adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines, understand our customers business, parts management, coordinate resources, provide feedback to manufacturing divisions, working and maintaining up to date technical knowledge for assigned products.

- BS Degree in Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 1-2 years related hands-on experience on HPLC products
- Proven track record of successful customer management.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Demonstrated ability to perform hands on maintenance, installations and selected repairs on analytical instruments.
- Ability to solve, high impact problems related to product availability; typically system/solution focused. Must be available for up to 10% travel for trainings that may include over-night stays.
Candidate must reside in the Boston/Cambridge, MA area.
