As a Field Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to travel & demonstrate your expertise as a technical repair &/or installation specialist for Roche assigned product lines, & provide valued service to your laboratory customers in an assigned territory.brbrIn this role you will:brbr* Provide technical support to customers on operational & maintenance aspects of laboratory equipmentbrbr* Perform on-site service, repair &/or installation of company products. This may include any aspect of field support & is not limited to mechanical / system hardware & software or networking/wireless networking.brbr* Identify & analyze moderately complex problems & repairs where possible or escalate to higher levels when repairs are not possible. Schedule & perform preventative maintenance, & modifications as required per department policy.brbr* Monitor customer equipment performance; respond & resolve most routine & non-routine issues.brbr* When repairs are not possible, you will have a support network for escalation of the issue.brbr* Using established practices, policies, & procedures, you will have the opportunity to use your troubleshooting skills diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software & system failure & determining the most cost effective repair / resolution to minimize customer downtime.brbr* Identify revenue generating & cost saving opportunities, implement the Roche Diagnostics service agreement policy, & seek out opportunities to market service contracts to existing customers.brbr* You will provide analysis, feedback & recommendations on product failure trends & service ability issues, & document all activity in a manner compliant with the company's quality procedures.brbr* You will use your expertise to ensure & maximize customer satisfaction during the installation process by ensuring instruments are installed & meet the manufacturer's specifications according to implementation guideline plans.brbrAs a Roche Field Service Representative, you will have specialized knowledge of a particular area, systems, & equipment which requires specific training & certification. This training & certification will enable you to apply your advanced skills to the position & give you the knowledge to adapt procedures, processes, tools equipment & techniques to meet the more complex requirements of the position. As the service provider in your territory, you will resolve most questions & problems for your customers & use your higher level support network to refer only the most complex issues than cannot be resolved.Responsible for maintaining & continuously improving the quality system & achieving quality objectives through daily actions.At Roche Diagnostics, our focus is on improving the lives of patients.
