Due to growth within the region, this client is adding to their existing team. ManpowerGroup Solutions, in conjunction with its client, is seeking a fulltime direct hire Field Service Technician in the Northwest WA area. The Field Service Technician is critical in driving customer satisfaction and being the face of the company while providing on-time and accurate technical services. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance and repairs (80%) and logging/documentation (20%). Additionally, the Field Service Technician will:

* Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment. Preventative maintenance should be conducted in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations (with regards to schedule and scope).

* Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment, determine possible causes for malfunctions, and perform repairs as suggested by diagnostics and assessment. Prior to and following preventative maintenance and repairs test and document the proper operating parameters.

* Provide basic tools to accomplish job along with normal maintenance of tools and equipment

* Provide a high level of customer service, responding to customer needs and working to satisfy customer expectations

* Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism

* Serve as an ambassador for the company

* Train and assist other Service Technicians

* Provide technical support to other departments and personnel as required

* Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment at all times

* Complete customer work order forms daily as well as service data reports, time cards, expense reports, and other job-related paperwork as required

* Perform additional assignments as required

Candidates will possess the following:

* 3+ years of demonstrated technical field service expertise to include maintenance, overhaul, and repair of a variety of equipment; reading and following schematics, blueprints and wiring diagrams; & strong overall electrical and mechanical skills

* Own set of hand tools appropriate for the position

* High school diploma or GED required (technical training in mechanical and/or electrical a plus)

* Must be self-directed and have excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and problem-solving skills

* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel

* Valid driver's license

* Ability to successfully complete drug and background tests

* Experience maintaining and repairing compressed air equipment preferred

* Refrigeration certification is a huge plus

Travel and Working Conditions

* Availability for 24-hour emergency calls on a rotating basis, weekend work and occasional overnights

* This position involves lifting 50 pounds of materials in various forms on a regular basis; repeated bending, squatting, standing, crawling, pushing and pulling; climbing a ladder and kneeling for long periods of time.
