Field Technician
The Environmental Field Technician will be working on various investigative projects with our Construction and Environmental Services group within ARCADIS

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Groundwater, sediment, and soil sampling
* Field documentation
* Review of analytical data
* Health and safety monitoring
* Construction management and oversight
* Operation and maintenance of remediation systems

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum requirements include:
* Two year degree in a technical or scientific field
* 1-3 yrs of experience working at active oil refineries
* 40-hour OSHA certification
* Ability to work independently
* Good communication and time management skills, and documentation
* Knowledge of health and safety requirements/standards
* Mechanical aptitude
* Basic computer skills (i.e., primarily Microsoft Word and Excel)
* Knowledge of laboratory analytical methods and chain-of-custody procedures, and sampling procedures

* This position does require travel. Travel amount is up to 50%, primarily in the state of Texas.
* A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position.
* This position does not manage others.
