POSITION DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is located in Anadarko's Southern Region as a member of the Midstream Team in Midland, TX.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience on oil and gas production facilities preferred but not required.
- A basic understanding of oil and gas operations, and working knowledge of natural gas process equipment is considered a significant plus.
- Effective communication skills.
- Additional requirements of the position include limited computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to work in the outdoors in extreme temp's.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
- Conduct dew point testing, maintenance and monitoring of glycol dehydration systems.
-Execute start up, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, dehydration units, electric motors, fans, pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms.
-Perform minor maintenance on compressors, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves.
-Pipeline pigging without interruption to normal gas and liquid flows.
-Compile daily production reports including downtime, abnormal gas volumes, condensation and unaccountable losses.
-Communicate with operations supervisors, field, plant and maintenance employees, clerical staff, producers, pumpers, landowners and contractors.
-Perform or assist in performing construction and pipeline repairs and installation.
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
The following is required for this position:
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.
WORK SCHEDULE:
This position is on a 40 hour which covers 24-hour operations and must be available for 24/7 on call.
