PACCAR Financial (PFC)
PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 20 countries on three continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.
The Finance Associate program is a 24-month rotation training program involving short-term assignments in PFC';s key functional areas including Administration, Collections, Credit, and Sales. At the end of the program candidates may be placed in one of the key disciplines.
The overall objectives for participants in the Financial Associate Program are as follows:
Demonstrate competence in each rotation area
Increase technical expertise in each of PACCAR Financial';s functional areas
Expand participants'; knowledge of PACCAR operations and culture
Increase networking and visibility with PACCAR management
Prepare for progressive career growth
Receives training and performs duties in several departments such as credit, sales, administration, portfolio management and other PFC departments to become familiar with line and staff functions, operations, management viewpoints, and company policies and practices that affect each phase of business.
Observes experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties.
Receives training in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and to provide greater promotional opportunities.
Special projects as assigned.
Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint. Proficiency with financial calculator.
Excellent communication skills and strong customer service orientation.
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Analytical and detail oriented. Self-motivated.
One to two years of experience in the finance or transportation industry preferred.
B.A. in Business Administration. Finance emphasis preferred.
Must be willing to relocate upon completion of assignment.
