ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
Finance';s primary responsibilities include financial reporting, corporate taxes, accounts payable, billing and collections, budget development and monitoring, underwriting, cash management, risk management, SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions activity, payroll, disaster recovery planning, internal audit and investor relations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of all ESI';s Sarbanes-Oxley to include:
Assist with the timely update of process documentation for quarterly certifications. Monitor management';s testing of key controls in significant areas and monitor any control gaps to ensure remediation. Coordinate with business owners to document remediation efforts within documented timelines. Assist in year-end preparation of SOX issue evaluations and work with auditors to ensure proper resolution. Coordinate with internal and external auditors on issue resolution and efficient execution of testing procedures. Ensure requests made to business owners are fulfilled in a timely manner, as necessary. Responsible for completing quarterly segregation of duties reviews and performing all related necessary procedures. Assist with the SAS 70 compliance and SEC/external reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor';s degree in accounting or finance CPA or Certified Internal Auditor preferred Three to five years relevant accounting or finance experience Strong attention to detail and exemplary organizational skills are critical Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage a heavy workload. Self-starter and team player Experience working with cross functional departments to research and resolve issues using innovative solutions Thorough understanding of business operations and processes required Focus on quality and service
