Job Summary

This position provides analytical, administrative and project management support to the Associate Director of SOM Agreements & Funds Flow Clinical Programs Departments.

Within SOM Agreements, the analyst will assist with the coordination, management, budgeting and budget reporting of the strategic support and purchased services agreements between the Medical Center and School of Medicine Departments, School of Pharmacy and School of Nursing. Within the Funds Flow Clinical Programs, perform analyses related to physician payments, productivity and other ad hoc requests. Assist with the full staff support to the Faculty Practice Advisory Committee. Responsible for maintaining the SOM Agreements and UCSF Funds Flow websites.

The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations is required.

Required Qualifications

* Two to three years of working in a health care environment with proficiency in high-level administrative, analytical and project management support

* Bachelor s degree (preferably in accounting or finance) and three to five years analytics and financial work experience

* High-level (intermediate to advance) proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); Adobe Acrobat document development and Visio

* Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills in a fast paced deadline driven environment

* Superior organizational skills and attention to detail and process

* Ability to run analytical (excel and other) reports and summarize information

* Ability to learn other internal systems to acquire data or run analytical reports

* Excellent communication skills (oral and written)

* Ability to work independently, and with others to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines

* Ability to function independently and within a team with minimal supervision, demonstrating excellent judgment

* Ability to exercise professional judgment in handling sensitive and confidential issues with discretion

* This positions requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations
