Required Experience:

* High School Diploma required

* NYS Life and Health Licenses and NASD Series 6 & 63 required. NASD Series 7 & 65 required

* 3 years banking/investment/insurance experience with proven sales success in financial services

Overview:

The primary function of the FNIS Financial Advisor is to sell mutual funds, annuities, life insurance and investments through branches of First Niagara Bank.

This individual will be responsible for growing and generating investment and insurance revenue in their assigned branches to achieve collective goals. Other responsibilities include the development of personal business and branch referrals. A FNIS Financial Advisor must work closely with branch personnel and provide appropriate sales and product training. A FNIS Financial Advisor must adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines and must maintain all appropriate licenses and professional designations. This position requires the individual to work effectively with other areas of the bank.

Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the achievement of assigned FNIS sales and revenue goals

* Provide coaching and training to branch employees, both licensed and non-licensed, on a regular basis

* Create a team approach to work toward common goals

* Ensure that a high level of customer service is delivered to internal and external customers at all times

* Manage operational procedures to comply with all applicable regulations and to mitigate business risk to the bank

* Must adhere to pertinent laws, regulations, First Niagara's Compliance Policy and external compliance requirements.
