Financial Analyst (Elkton, VA)
We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our client-dedicated Finance & Accounting in Elkton, VA. This position is on a client account within the pharmaceutical industry.
Perform all budgeting/planning, financial reporting and analysis functions for Elkton site. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Under guidance of FM, develop annual budgets and quarterly forecast updates.
Help ensure accurate and timely expense recognition (e.g., timely receipting / accruals) and reporting of actual financial results.
Prepare monthly actual vs. budget/forecast variance analyses and commentary.
Present financial results at monthly JLL/client governance team meetings.
Work with FM teams to identify risks / opportunities vs. budgets/forecasts and evaluate potential cost-savings initiatives.
Work with facility managers to prepare scope change documents and determine related glide path savings impact.
Manage site glide paths and validate actual savings achieved vs. target.
Reconcile JLL reported spend vs. client billings and results.
Serve as main interface with regional client finance teams.
Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations as required.
Bachelor s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
Ideal candidate will have at least three years of applicable experience.
Strong financial, accounting and analytical skills.
Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
Advanced computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), INSight, Enterprise One (JD Edwards) Software and, the ability to master company specific database programs.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills.
Well-developed verbal and written communications and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partners and clients.
Ability to multi-task, work successfully under pressure, and effectively prioritize and manage time and workload.
Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignment.
Understanding of and commitment to client services.
