Warnaco Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a talented Financial Analyst to join our team. Warnaco's history dates back to 1874. The original company designed, manufactured and sold Warner's corsets to retailers. Since then, Warnaco has evolved into a global apparel leader which designs, sources, markets, licenses and distributes a broad line of intimate apparel, sportswear and swimwear worldwide. The Company's products are sold under several highly recognized brand names, including, but not limited to, Calvin Klein, Speedo, Chaps, Warner's and Olga.

Responsibilities will include assistance in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, internal reporting, process improvements and variance analysis. As such, there will be frequent interaction with department heads, division CFO's, segment CFO's, division Presidents, segment Presidents, department heads, the external reporting and accounting departments and executive management. Significant exposure to key members of management and key company initiatives.

In addition, your primary responsibilities will include:

* Report, analyze and interpret financial data based on information collected from financial systems, corporate department heads and division CFO's
* Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast, annual budget and strategic plan for the corporate departments, including variances from last forecast, budget and prior year
* Prepare and analyze on a monthly basis the consolidation of data related to worldwide retail operations including comps, store count, square feet, new store proposals, inventory, leasehold, revenue bridge analysis
* Prepare and issue a monthly report to Management related to worldwide retail operations (in support of Business decisions)
* Prepare and issue a monthly report to External Reporting related to worldwide retail operations (in support of disclosures and guidance)
* Assist in the consolidation and analysis of the strategic plan, annual budget and monthly forecast for the operating divisions
* Assist in the preparation of various presentations to management and the board
* Assist in the internal reporting of segment, division, region and brand results
* Develop budget/forecast/prior year comparisons reports
* Communicate financial results to management
* Prepare and issue a weekly report from a data warehouse of monthly orders for each division, including automation initiatives
* Assist in the preparation of the strategic plan, annual budget and monthly forecast for the balance sheet, cash flow, working capital components and related metrics and other key ratios
* Prepare and issue monthly reports for Inventory Rollforward and quarterly reports for Receivables and Inventory Aging
* Participate in balance sheet and cash flow forecasting, forecast accuracy, growth, systems, finance, cost reduction and process improvement projects.
* Partner with the BI team on a regular basis to improve the use of system tools for accurate management reporting
* Prepare a monthly report of forecast accuracy by division for income statement and working capital
* Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis related to the impact of foreign exchange rates, including constant dollar reporting
