The Financial Analyst - Field Finance develops, interprets, and implements financial concepts, or techniques for financial analysis and performance management by performing the following duties.- Data Compilation & Report generation - Gather, compile, maintain and report on Regional financial performance.- Analysis & Interpretation - Analyze financial information to determine present and future financial performance.- Improvement of Reporting Infrastructure - Continues to evaluate opportunities for efficiency via automation and improvements in the data framework.- Production of monthly Regional/Branch P&L's- Makes recommendations to management regarding cost saving or profit generating opportunities and profitability improvement strategies.- Project Management - Responsible for individual projects from initiation through completion.Position Requirements- Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years related experience.- Advanced skills working with MS Excel (required) and intermediate Access skills- Hyperion experience would be a plus.- Possesses and applies knowledge of financial analysis and understanding of P&C insurance KPI would be helpful.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Recognized as one of America's Best Employers by Forbes,The Hanover is proud to be among the top property and casualty insurers in the United States.
