Position Summary:

The Marketing Spend Coordinator is an entry-level position and is an integral part of the Marketing process. Marketing Spend Coordinators play a major role in budget execution by working closely with Marketers to initiate spend in the Enterprise Marketing Management system (EMM). Marketing Spend Coordinators also keep Marketers up to date on all relevant Purchase through Pay activities (e.g. Purchase Order, Invoice, etc.) associated with their respective spend and help with reconciliation and tracking. This position is a key link to Marketers, Suppliers, Finance teams, Procurement and Accounts Payable.

Position Responsibilities and Relationships
This position has direct responsibility in the following key areas:

* Marketing spend activity creation

* Commitments (i.e. PO) creation and management

* Proof of performance and invoice management

* Budget adjustments, reallocations & reporting

* Reconciling actual spend vs. forecast

* Issue resolution

* Support with on-boarding, off-boarding and on-going training

* Customer service

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor s degree required

* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

* Ability to synthesize data and form logical conclusions

* Works autonomously within established procedures and practices

* Strong time management skills and drive for results

* Enthusiasm for learning new processes

* Self-managed and organized degree in Accounting / Finance
