The Financial Analyst Sr. works independently within their area of responsibility while developing their leadership skills and will interact periodically with all levels of management. Job responsibilities may include: Financial Representative for clinical or business service line; preparing and enhancing the processes associated with financial analysis; financial reporting; and general accounting; facilitating and analyzing data associated with the operating or capital budget and forecast; preparing and ensuring the accuracy of regulatory reporting ensuring compliance with capital asset management; and coordinating the charge master. The Financial Analyst Sr. will be able to multi-task while providing excellent customer service. They will develop leadership skills by participating in or leading projects within the Finance Division. Other responsibilities as assigned. HIGHLY PREFERRED SPECIFIC SKILLS: Chargemaster experience a must. This position serves as support for BayCares Chargemaster in the revenue cycle process. Leads and assists in reviews, research, and maintenance related to the Chargemaster for all BayCare hospitals. Works with the Chargemaster personnel to resolve problems identified in the charge capture process. Leads and assists with analysis of chargemaster, charge capture, and billing procedures. Performs education as necessary to the departments. Leads and assists with facilitation of process improvement initiative to reduce re-work and cycle time from service to final bill. Clinical or coding experience a plus, as well as the traditional skills of process improvement, organizational, analyticaldecision making, leadership, writtenverbal communication, and computer skills. Siemens Patient Accounting System experiences a plus. CERTIFICATION PREFERRED: CPA. REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelors in Accounting or Finance. PREFERRED EDUCATION: Masters Degree.
