JOB DESCRIPTIONWe are seeking 2 Financial Analysts for a 3-6 month contract to hire located in Addison IL. Accounting degree or finance degree is a must. Responds to all telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner. Process and manage customer and vendor contracts as they relate to the billing process. Verify and audit proper paperwork and, if not correct, obtains the missing information to complete process. Create contracts and price agreements to ensure accurate time entry, third party PO creation and billing. Review statements of work (SOWs) and determine correct revenue recognition and fee structures and invoicing parameters. Reviews revenue and expense recorded against contracts to ensure accuracy compared to bid margin. Review contractual pricing and invoicing terms before executing billing to ensure audit compliance. Ensure proper backup and project management approval is obtained before billing. Prepare client credits as required. Manage and communicate expiration of contracts to appropriate sales personnel and follow them through renewal or completion. Request creation of and updates to service materials in SAP as required. Conduct internal audit as it relates to area of responsibility. Assist Collections with A/R issues and dispute cases. Assist Commissions with commission adjustment requests. Assists Service Management team with the customer’s billing requirements, while ensuring good practices in standard methodologies and processes are utilized to deliver an integrated solution. Maintains and adheres to standard operating procedures for the department, including: administering and managing the processes to create and maintain proper documentation to ensure efficient and consistent delivery of service, both internally and externally. Provide guidance on budgets and financial aspects of operational decisions. Complete submission of monthly reclasses, deferrals and accruals based on Accounting GAAP guidelines. Provides leadership, assistance and advice to project management team, staffing managers and the sales teams as it relates to contract management. Communicate articulately both orally and in writing. Communicates effectively and credibly with all organizational levels, with the specific ability to gain trust, draw out needs, creatively propose ideas, and immediately and expertly resolve conflicts and concerns. Ambitious, flexible, and aggressive. A self-starter who requires minimum supervision and adapts easily to changing work environments and requirements and can drive for results. Ability to adapt and work well in a rapidly changing environment and be a change leader. Ability to handle many projects as well as ongoing operational responsibilities simultaneously. Demonstrated ability to deliver while working under time pressure with multiple deadlines Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Ability to work effectively in teams. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Must pass a drug and criminal background check before starting Associates degree in Financial Management or Accounting IS A MUST 1 year of operational management Minimum 2 years’ experience in various Accounting & Finance functions (Preferred) Minimum 1 year in a business analysis and requirements definition (Preferred) Working knowledge of SAP (Preferred) Intermediate MS Office skills (especially MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook) Good organizational skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 2+ years of experience in customer service, accounting, billing, or service operations support. Ability to read, analyze and interpret labor-based contracts and translate the proposed deliverables into a billing contract
