Also, Carnegie Mellon University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology/MIT, Stanford University, University of California-Berkeley, Cornell University, University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign, Princeton University, University of Washington, Georgia Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
Candidates with experience at finance, trading, software and/or technology companies preferred.
Seeking an Application Engineer with innate problem-solving skills to join an innovative software engineering team.
-Provide internal and external solutions.
-Develop and enhance financial software packages that enable world-wide trading operations.
-Partner with users to determine requirements for software enhancements, as well as outside vendors to resolve bugs, perform upgrades, and maintain systems.
-Write programs to connect software packages to internal and external data sources.
-At least a bachelor's degree from a top university in computer science or an engineering discipline.
-Experience using SQL.
-Strong coding abilities in Java/Linux.
-Solid communication skills.
-Attention to detail.
-An obsession with and commitment to producing accurate results.
