Dewberry is currently seeking a Financial Administrative Intern to join our Boston, MA office. This position offers potential for professional growth in a great working environment and the opportunity to help our Telecommunications group exceed the expectations of our clients.","The financial administrative intern shall assist the Telecom department's financial administrator with tracking all telecommunications projects, financial information, and ensuring consistency throughout the following processes:
Client Proposals - Assist the engineers and financial administrator to prepare and issue proposals to various clients. These will then be entered into the accounting system tracked until the purchased orders are received.
Financial/Budget Review - Review of project financials with engineer and implement requested changes, invoice completed work and track outstanding accounts.
Tracker maintenance - The financial administrative intern shall assist in the continuous maintenance of the financial project tracking system.
Contact Submittals - Support new account contracts and insurance requests that are processed through the financial administrators group.
Client interface - Correspondence with client's financial representative to provide requested documentation & follow up on accounts receivable.
Candidate is required to be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
2 years of college experience is required.
Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
Strong organizational skills
Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
