JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) is an agency in the United States Department of Defense, with more than 26,000 civilian and military personnel throughout the world. Located in 48 states and 28 countries, DLA provides supplies to the military services and supports their acquisition of weapons, repair parts, and other materials.
We are seeking qualified individuals to fill the following positions within this task area:
• Management Analyst 2
• Consultant 2
• Ensure property and financial records at Field Sites CONUS and CONUS locations are in compliance with the Financial Management Regulation (FMR) and other Federal Accounting Standards.
• Determine the level of financial reporting (materiality) on the annual financial statement for the universe (5,000) of Capital Assets.
• Recommend adjustments to DLA EBS records and provide detailed impacts to the financial statements.
• Track, submit, and validate System Change Requests (SCRs). Develop audit internal controls and assist in ensuring they are properly implemented to support financial compliance and proper asset accountability.
• Monitor and track DD Form 200 Investigations, reports, initiation, value, findings, and final disposition and/or closure at 600 DLA locations.
• Provide a monthly status report for each task.
• A2R environment data gathering, compiling, sorting, scanning, and replication of data for use and storage within the Enterprise Business System (EBS) and other computerized DLA accountability and maintenance systems.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Direct work experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) or Dept. of Defense (DoD) is required.
• An Active and or recent National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation is mandatory
