Job Description
TEMPORARY CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY (March 2012 - August 2012)
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
The Pricing Analyst?s primary role includes Global Pricing & Rebate Program Administration: Program Contracts, Maintenance (Oracle, data mart or other tools), Calculations, Analysis and Reporting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partners with other Financial Analysts on pricing goals, standards, processes and projects.
- Oracle Pricing User: Proficiently utilizes system to set up and maintain pricing.
- Global rebate program administration: track program contracts, maintain data mart, calculate rebate projections and payment, and provide accurate reporting. Completes scheduled reports to both internal and external customers.
- Responds to requests to change pricing. Collaborate on price and rebate changes, validate all recommendations and update systems as needed.
- Analysis and evaluation of pricing requests to ensure adherence to policies and accuracy of information.
- Provides pricing information to both internal and external customers.
- Trouble shoot and respond to questions from internal and external customers as needed.
- Supports various projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
BS/BA degree or equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience
- 1+ years of related experience in pricing
Skills:
- Demonstrated proficiency with business systems and understanding of key systems interfaces. Experience with Oracle (or ERP) Pricing module strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office 2007 (Excel): Experience should include the use and development of the following: formulas & macros, queries of Oracle tables and data warehouses (parameter, select and cross tab queries), VLOOKUP, and understands nested functions.
- Able to communicate in an articulate, professional manner, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong quality control. Detail orientated and precise.
- Strong drills for information and problem solving competencies.
