Fire and Life Safety Systems Lead Inspector - SimplexGrinnell

About the role:

* Lead Inspectors are responsible for performing and supervising routine inspections, testing, servicing, and preventative maintenance of Electrical, Sprinkler or Suppression life safety product lines as well as, similar competitive manufacturers product lines.

* Lead inspector combines working knowledge of technical principles and concepts with in depth knowledge of team objectives. Ensure the quality and service of self and others. Regularly leads teams and provides technical leadership.

* Follow and assist in training others on maintaining a highly structured inspection schedule.

Who were looking for:

* Minimum of 8 years of experience in service, installation or inspections in fire & security industry with 1 year minimum in a supervisory role.

* Knowledge of local and national fire code requirements and a NICET Level III Electrical and Sprinkler (Level II Suppression) certification.

* Knowledge of multiple lines of fire protection equipment with demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting systems and performing necessary repairs.

* Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet customer requirements.

* Successful completion of the Inspector Entre Course (Electrical or Sprinkler)
