K Partners is seeking an outgoing, dynamic Food and Beverage Manager for the Ramada Plaza/Baymont Inn & Suites in Fayetteville, NC. The selected candidate will be a very personable, outgoing, organized, and hands-on leader. The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for all aspects of front-of-house operations for the restaurant, lounge and banquet facilities including: * Promoting a friendly, courteous and customer-focused atmosphere in all food and beverage outlets * Continually work toward improving the efficiency of restaurant, lounge and banquet operations by maximizing sales opportunities and/or reducing costs without affecting the level of service or food quality * Maintain payroll, beverage inventory and departmental expenses within budgeted guidelines. * Manage staffing for food and beverage outlets, including hiring, scheduling consistent with the volume and business needs of the hotel, coaching & counseling, discipline and terminate as appropriate. * Continuously evaluate the performance and encourage improvement of the personnel in the food and beverage department. Plan and administer a training and development program within the department which will provide well-trained associated at all levels and permit advancement for those persons qualified and interested in career development * Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards * Conduct regular inspections of all outlets and storage areas to maintain cleanliness and organizational standards * Assist the hotel sales team in presenting the property to prospective clients, answering client questions about available services and provide suggestions and ideas to facilitate in event planning * Creatively market restaurant and lounge to prospective customers
