Sodexo Senior Living is seeking a Food Operations Manager for potential new business located in Knoxville, Tennessee. This Continuing Care Retirement Community is part of a National system of accounts and a Blue Chip system for Sodexo Senior Living. This position will oversee the dining operations for approximately 170 resident skilled care building. The Food Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and manage a staff of approximately 15 hourly employees. Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who will: * have oversight of day-to-day operations (dining room service and trays to room); * deliver high quality food service; * achieve company and client financial targets and goals; * develop and maintain client and customer relationships; * develop strategic plans; * create a positive environment; and * ensure Sodexo Standards are met. The ideal candidate: * has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous management experience and the ability to work collaboratively; * has food production experience ideally in a healthcare environment; a dietary manager certification is needed or must be willing to obtain within one year. * has a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; * has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; * can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and * is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
