Sodexo MAGIC - Schools Division is seeking an experienced Operations Manager 3 to support our growing geography in the Washington DC K-12 Market. This position is based out of the Washington DC area. The best qualified candidate will have the ability to build relationships with diverse work groups, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and have knowledge and extensive experience in Kronos, Payroll, Payroll processes, Scheduling and food purchasing/ production principles. Seeking candidates with strong payroll and financial acumen as you will analyze and complete daily, weekly & monthly payroll and financial reports. You should be well versed in corrective action, and have a working knowledge of computer programs and applications. Seeking leaders with a strong sense of urgency, organization and time management customer and client services. Preferred Qualifications * Verbal and written communication skills in the English language, active listening, flexibility, critical thinking, multi-task and time management. * Working knowledge of and ability for decision making, reasoning, ability to develop original ideas to solve problems, and perform operations analysis, payroll processes and quality control analysis. * Working knowledge and skill in effective interpersonal and work leadership skills to provide guidance to other personnel. * Strong customer service skills and client contact. Position Summary Assumes General Managers (GM) responsibilities and authority in his/her absence in complex multi-functional accounts. Has direct client contact on day-to-day issues. Develops and Implements plans under the direction of a GM 5 or higher. Manages through managers. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Responsible for financial/HR functions. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations.
