JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Overview:
Under direct supervision, completes assigned client food safety audits. Educates and trains client employees, including hourly and salaried staff levels, on food safety practices. Conducts food safety training for clients and works with them to adopt important food safety principles. Prepares written analyses for clients which includes observations, assessments, and recommendations conveyed during the audits.
1 Schedules and Completes assigned client food safety audits, primarily restaurants and grocery stores.
2 Utilizes food safety knowledge and training to assess food safety, sanitation, and security measures at client locations.
3 Educates and trains client employees, including hourly and salaried staff, on food safety practices.
4 Issues a formal audit report to clients which includes observations, assessments, and recommendations from the audit.
5 Supports training plans of new auditors by demonstrating food safety and sanitation knowledge and auditing methods.
6 Performs other duties as directed.
University degree in a science curriculum.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage project expectations.
Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
