JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Responsibilities include developing and leading our Food Safety and Quality programs as well as leading implementation and on-going program management/oversight of necessary certifications, compliance to Company Quality Assurance / Food Safety requirements and other related initiatives. Ensure compliance with all USDA and other applicable governmental statutes and regulations. Must also have direct experience with ensuring raw materials are in compliance with established criteria, including pre-harvest, review of field and cooler operations.
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, or related field and 3 to 5 years in food processing/dried fruit environment and supervision required. Candidate must also possess strong knowledge of HACCP system, regulatory audits, GFSI Audits, qualitysystems review process (QSR), standard operating procedures (SOP's), incoming ingredient inspections, food safety audits, field complaints, standardized work instructions, and product recall processes. Must possess good language and computer skills
