JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Food and Nutrition at Wishard Health Services, is currently seeking a Retail Manager to manage three self operated food service establishments including Wishard s Caf Soleil, a 52 seat sit down restaurant, Wishard Cafeteria, Wishard Ala Carte and coordinating catered special events at Wishard. . The retail manager selected will also be responsible for the management of the self operating retail outlets at the new Eskenazi Health Hospital scheduled to open in December of 2013 and will be involved with the planned opening of these outlets within the next twenty four months. The manager will report directly to the Director of Food and Nutrition.

The retail manager is responsible for developing menus in the retail segments in association with the production team. The retail manager will also hire, train and schedule qualified staff, set service standards and create an atmosphere to maximize revenue in each outlet. The manager also must be able to have the ability to maintain and manage both labor and revenue budgets. The retail manager will also work with the director to establish marketing strategies for all operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate should have an associates degree or higher in hospitality management or another foodservice related program and be Serve Safe Certified with at least three years management experience in a restaurant environment. A hospitality and catering background is desired. Culinary skills a plus. Excellent written skills and computer skills a must. Full-time Days
