Job Description
Company: Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center
Facility: SHS Corporate at Corvallis
Department: SHS Foundation
Assists with specialized accounting functions for the Financial Edge, posts contributions to the Raisers Edge, performs other accounting and data entry duties as assigned. Serves as the Central Foundation Office back up for both the Financial Edge and Raisers Edge. Performs a wide variety of accounting functions including general ledger journal entries, reconciliation, accounts payable and bank reconciliation. Assists Senior Accountant in the preparation of monthly financial statements.
High School diploma or equivalent required. College-level coursework in accounting or related field required. Bachelor s degree from an accredited university in accounting preferred.Two (2) years experience doing the full scope of accounting work for a business required. Bachelor s degree from an accredited university in accounting may substitute for this experience.Experience with computers required. Experience with MS applications preferred.Experience with database software preferred.
