JOB DESCRIPTIONa.i. solutions is looking to increase the size of our atypical FreeFlyer technical support team by bringing on a clever and ambitious individual skilled in aerospace topics. Unlike most technical support teams, you will not just be answering questions from our NASA, Air Force, and commercial customers, you will also be on the front lines of helping with every exciting and challenging systems design problem involving the FreeFlyer flight dynamics software inside the company. You will be tasked with mastering the FreeFlyer software, representing the user experience in design meetings, and will be called upon to cleverly and cleanly address challenges posed by customers and our sales team using the tool. Additionally, you will need savvy customer-facing communication skills when traveling to customer sites across the world to instruct them in the optimal usage of the software. Essential Roles & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to FreeFlyer users over varying mediums of communication
Test, document, and create examples and training materials for newly implemented FreeFlyer features
Build demonstrations and presentations using FreeFlyer to showcase the tool to prospective customers
Support customer site visits for demonstrations, presentations, and FreeFlyer training
Work closely with aerospace systems engineers throughout the company to build industry-leading ground systems using the FreeFlyer software
Review design documents for new FreeFlyer functionality and advocate for the users best interests
Manage FreeFlyer licensing and user registration on our corporate website
Be vocal about possible areas of improvement for FreeFlyer or the FreeFlyer teams processes
Bachelors degree in aerospace engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Highly motivated with demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel domestically and abroad (Approximately 1-3 trips take place per year)
Use of flight dynamics related modeling/simulation and computing tools, including FreeFlyer itself
Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool
C#, Java, or similar programming languages
