* Must fully comply and abide by the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) of the company. * The ability to post all necessary checks prior to closing the figures for the day and running reports. * The ability to run all reports and tapes necessary for the successful completion of the night audit. * The ability to balance and audit all Front Office postings and settlements. * The ability to balance the work from all Food and Beverage and retail outlets of the hotel. * The ability to ensure telephone call accounting system reporting has been completed, and system is functional. * The ability to initiate shutdown, reporting and startup of the hotel's computer system. * The ability to ensure the copy and backup procedures are properly completed on the hotel's computer system. * The ability to balance all credit cards charge totals to individual cashier reports, and prepare credit cards for submission, ensuring that adding machine tapes of both soft and hard copies agree and are balanced with credit card folios. * The ability to prepare and distribute a Daily Business Report of that day's revenues. * The ability to prepare and distribute a recap of all entertainment checks for that day. * The ability to organize the night audit work in an orderly manner for distribution to the Income Auditor. * The ability to report any problems or discrepancies to the Income Auditor on a daily basis. * The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of the TAJ Boston Hotel. * The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation. * The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
