We are looking for a Front Desk Manager to inspire, nurture, and refresh our guests, leaving them in a tranquil state of mind. As a Front Desk Manager you will manage the performance of the front office team and monitor the front desk operations. Report, as directed, any observed deviations to established standards. Review and adjust staffing daily to ensure optimum staffing levels. Communicate throughout the day with Front Office and other departments to ensure total guest satisfaction. Manage administrative functions in accordance with established standards. Ensure efficient guest registration, check out and telephone service. Direct and train front desk staff and operators. Assist in new-hire and on-going training and recruitment. Direct and assist front desk staff and telecommunications in organizing breaks, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and according to schedule. Create weekly schedules and maintain them through changes. Below are a list of skills needed to fulfill our expectations and thrive within the department to reach your potential. Requirements The ideal candidate must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace. This position will be mainly PM and overnight shifts with occasional mornings. The Front Desk Manager position requires good communication skills, both verbal and written. Must possess basic computational ability and basic computer skills. Minimum two-three years management experience preferred with at least one year in front office management or supervisory experience at progressively higher levels of responsibility. Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 4 hours per day and stand continuously without reasonable accommodation for at least 6-8 hours during a shift. High school or equivalent education required. Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience required. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. occasionally.
