The Front End Web Developer (FWD) contributes to the evolution and maintenance of a fresh, functional, and compelling online presence that clearly conveys the University of Chicago's, Booth School of Business (Chicago Booth) brand image. Under the supervision of the Director of Digital, the FWD acts as one of the developers for Chicago Booth's websites, microsites, emails, and other digital marketing vehicles for Chicago Booth. The FWD continually implements enhancements in structure, content placement, and functionality on internal and external web properties.


Works as part of the development team in building and maintaining standards-based mobile friendly websites, email templates and web templates for the content management system (Sitecore).

Documents, develops, and maintains code for connectivity with external web services and APIs.

Assist with providing support for key digital marketing tools.

Works with the Director of Digital on the continual evolution of Chicago Booth development standards and enforcing adherence to the standards for Chicago Booth's on-line presence.

Collaborates with the Director of Digital to manage and meet established Service-Level-Agreements for maintenance and support activities.

Collaborates with the Director of Digital with the creation and maintenance of Digital Marketing's web development standards and procedural documentation.

Continually monitors website for consistency and functionality and manage website architecture.

Maintains site code to support ongoing metrics capture, integrated with Google Analytics and Adobe Site Catalyst. Perform quality assurance checks on web development projects.
