We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Front Office Manager. * Direct and oversee the selection, hiring, scheduling, and training of qualified employees. * Conduct effective department meetings and counseling sessions. * Conduct timely performance and salary reviews. * Monitor service and teamwork on a regular basis. * Resolve problems, provide open communications and recommend discipline and termination, as appropriate. * Achieve guest satisfaction goals by supervising the Front Office operation. * Oversee and participate in the prompt and courteous check-in and check-out of guests. * Check daily for VIP rooms and special accommodation requests. * Respond to guest complaints in a courteous and effective manner. * Attend pre-convention and post-convention meetings as needed. * Coordinate group arrivals and departures. * Maintain room security by providing effective key control. * Oversee mail and message delivery. * Respond to positive and negative comments expressed in comment cards and develop strategies to improve guest service results.Requirements:Must have a flexible schedule Required to work from 40-50 hours per week or maybe more depending on business demands Prior experience in a mid size or full service hotel Great personality and strong managing skills (ref. 16186)
