The Hilton Garden Inn Miami Airport is actively searching for qualified candidates to join their team as Front Office Manager. The Front Office Manager is responsible for directing and administering Front Office operations in the hotel continuously seeking to improve the guest service experience and to deliver outstanding guest service while contributing to the financial profitability of the hotel as related to their department. Manage all Front Office operations to include, but not limited to, guest service and registration (check-in/check-out), managing day of arrival room inventory, upholding guest service standards and initiatives, product quality, cost controls and overall profitability, systems use and management, ,labor management, policy and procedure implementation and enforcement and meeting participation and facilitation Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations and delivering recognition and reward Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly Ensure compliance with Hilton Garden In brand standards including maintaining all required brand standards pertaining to Quality Assurance inspections Meet and greet guests and respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner and resolves guest concerns including responding to Guest Assistance files Initiate and implement up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities to maximize room occupancy and overall revenue Ensure team members have current knowledge of hotel products, services, facilities, events, pricing and policies and knowledge of the local area and events Oversee the VIP guest process including, but not limited to, reviewing VIP reservations and ensuring smooth check-in/check-out Working closely with the Sales department to ensure that all details relating to group and corporate reservations are accurate Recruit, interview and train team members as an ongoing continuous improvement process Participate in the hotels Manager on Duty program
