Job Description

The Front Office Supervisor is responsible in assisting the FOM in all duties of the front desk operation. Tasks include, but are not limited to: assisting with staff training and motivation, providing excellent guest service at all points of interactions, and effective inter-department communications. The FOS prepares audit paperwork for the FOM weekly and also writes the Today in Delray Newsletter. The FOS usually works a regularly scheduled front desk shift but must be available to fill in for any shift as needed. The FOS should possess strong communication skills and demonstrate leadership abilities. He/She will strive to continually improve quality and service while protecting the owner's assets, including physical structure, financial stability, and reputation. This position has regular contact with the hotel managers to provide information and discuss operations. In addition to regularly scheduled front desk shifts, the FOS will represent the hotel at selected community networking events. Starting pay: $11 - $12 per hour. Job Description: Assist FOM in conducting regular team and front desk meetings. Create reservations for corporate, group, and gift certificate stays. Sit in during the weekly revenue management call. Coach and train all members of the front desk team on their role in the sales process. Ensure team member attitude of attentiveness and anticipation of guest needs. Ensure proper delivery of guest special requests. Inspect rooms according to quality standards for cleanliness and proper preventative maintenance. Develop and maintain hotel programs to assure that the quality program criteria are met. Assist FOM in reviewing room inventory management to ensure maximization of room revenue. Aid in developing package ideas and complimentary items for guest occasions Ensure guest service standards are widely-known and met by all FOH staff members Enforce standards for personnel administration, performance, and service to our guests. Follow standards set for room rates, advertising, publicity, credit, service, and clientele. Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and grounds for cleanliness and appearance. Use CBH common practice knowledge to effectively respond to guest issues while on duty Ensure that all reports are accurate and delivered to FOM in a timely manner. Work closely with FOM, GM, and bartender to increase revenue and promote Tiki Bar Assist FOM in minimizing and responding to guest complaints Be on call for FD agent questions/tech support Be available to cover extra shifts when necessary Conduct Internal and Third Party reservation audits Audit guest preferences weekly Enter bar sales into HMS weekly
