Pheasant Run Resort is seeking a dynamic leader who will provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. The Front Office Supervisor will provide leadership, guidance and support to the Front Office team. This individual will be the first point of contact for guests and will be responsible for creating an outstanding and memorable experience. The Front Office Supervisor will need to ensure that all standards and procedures are properly performed. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supervises the Front Office staff. Assists in training new employees in the Front Office Department. Completes departure report and follows up with the Housekeeping department on late check-outs. Reviews discrepancy report from housekeeping; resolves discrepancies. Maintains key inventory, and ensures its security. Assists the guests with pertinent information concerning the hotel's accommodations, services and features, handles special requests, and resolves complaints. Runs daily system reports; i.e., arrivals, departures, occupancy, house count, etc., and distributes according to established guidelines. Performs and/or supervises the bucket check nightly. Performs shift closing procedures and reviews all work performed during the shift. Interfaces with Audit shift and housekeeping to ensure a continuous and smooth running operation. Ensures that all problems, complaints, and special instructions are logged in the Front Office Manual. Sells the hotel in the most efficient way, maximizing occupancy and average rate in order to surpass budgeted objectives.
