Functional Software Testers, Veteran's Administration Sep Project

CACI has a contingent opening for two (2) Functional Software Testers to support the Veterans Administration SEP Project in Chesapeake, VA.SEP is an online portal application focused primarily on VA business partners that provide support/services to Veterans. This portal is designed to improve the capabilities of VA providers so that they may better serve Wounded Warriors, Veterans, Service Members, their families, and their caregivers online. The Functional Software Tester is required to develop, implement and maintain test plans, procedures, guidelines, standards and processes on the project and document test results in delivered test reports. The selected candidate will adhere to test engineering schedule constraints, will provide metrics data required by project plan, and conduct formal software testing to verify that all requirements have been met. The selected candidate will prepare and participate in internal reviews of software test products. Specific test engineering duties include, but not limited to:Developing test scriptsGenerating test dataExecute regression, functional, and system testingVerifying results and producing test summaries and defect reportsIdentifying defects and requirement discrepanciesGenerating defect change requests and reporting discrepanciesRequired Qualifications:Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline or related experience and a minimum of five to seven years of formal software testing experience. This experience must include:Experience testing web based applicationsExperience developing and executing test scriptsExperience with SQL and verifying test results against the databaseExperience with web based testing with multiple browser versions/configurationsExperience and detailed knowledge using IBM Rational Test Lab and ClearQuest toolsExperience with Section 508 Compliance tests and tool setsExperience in performing software test within a CMMI Level 3 organizationExperience in writing defect reportsExperience using Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to obtain a DOD Secret security clearance.Must be able to obtain Security Certification within 6 months of start date.CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
