The Guest Services & Ticketing Intern will assist the Guest Services & Ticketing Department with the Hershey Entertainment Complex promoting hospitality to our guests, both internal and external. Candidates will gain operational knowledge, understanding ticketing fulfillment, and answer guest correspondence for Giant Center and Hershey Theatre. In addition to resolving customer issues, assisting guests, selling tickets, processing orders, assisting the Usher team, and tracking labor costs, this position will work in multiple venues including Giant Center, Hershey Theatre, Hersheypark Stadium, Star Pavillion, and the Hersheypark Arena. The length of this internship runs from October 2016-May 2017 based on the operational seasonal of the Entertainment Complex events. Job Functions: Interns will provide guest assistance while learning operational standards for the following areas: Event Day Responsibilities - On any event day, the Guest Services Intern may be placed in the following roles to gain a full understanding of the operational needs of the Box Office: Ticket Agent Guest Services Agent Usher Ticket Taker Premium Seating Concierge Answering the Guest Services Phone Line Item Check In Agent Meet and Greet Coordinator Non Event Day Responsibilities Assist the Guest Services full-time staff with all guest correspondence including responding to all guest correspondences and tracking guest communication in the Guest Relations Log Coordinate details of the Giant Center Tour Program Assist with the tracking and documentation of various programs including Complimentary Tickets , Sweet Thank You, and Mercom Evaluations Assisting full-time staff with pre-event preparations Act as a ticking agent and fulfill guests orders Various other duties as assigned by full-time staff to ensure successful operations of our various box office locations.
