Award-winning prestigious and historic Club is seeking a qualified Garde Manger Chef. Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Supervises pantry staff in preparation of salads, dressings, cold foods, Charcuterie and buffet platters ensuring consistent, high quality product is produced. Prepares appetizers, hors d'oeuvres, center-pieces and accompaniments. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Assists the Executive Chef with pricing, cost controls, requisitioning of food needed for production. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
